FAQs
Here you can find answers to the most common questions
The course begins when you enroll, with 5 days of lessons being released each week until all the course content is unlocked. We advise you to complete the lessons chronologically but don’t worry if you can not complete them as they are released as once you have bought the course the content is available for 3 months from when you join.
To receive a course completion certificate, you must complete all course lessons and successfully complete all assignments and tests. Once you have met all the requirements and your course progress reaches 100%, you can request your completion certificate by filling out the form available at the end of the course. The school staff will then issue an official certificate. Please note that it may take 2–3 business days to process, so plan ahead if you need the certificate for your visa appointment.
You can find the community here or go to your dashboard and along with any courses you are enrolled in you can also see the communities you are part of.
If you have a question about anything in the course or the platform itself, check this section first, if you don't see an answer use the discussion option in the Student Community General section to ask our course leaders.
You can check your User Profile page, click on “Order history” and there you will find the course login and expiration date.
Although you will be able to interact with the Course facilitators and other students through the community, the lessons are not run as a live class. All lessons are pre-recorded and created to help you learn as quickly as possible using our online platform and allow you to complete lessons at your own pace. We’re currently working on adding optional 1-on-1 live private lessons with Linguaviva’s teachers. More details will be available soon, stay tuned!
Tuition for a 4-week course in a Italian language school in Italy costs about €840 on average. Our A1 course follows Linguaviva's 1-month intensive course base curriculum, with the same high-quality level of learning materials. Extensive work has been done to adapt their A1 course to be more effective for online and remote learning so you can reach the same level as you would after 1 month at an Italian language school from anywhere in the world.
This course is designed to help you reach approximately CEFR A1 level in Italian. By the end of the course, and depending on your level of engagement with the materials, you will have developed a solid foundation in beginner Italian and covered the main content required for the A1 CILS/CELI exams. You will also complete approximately 80 hours of study, which is widely recognised as the standard learning benchmark for achieving this level.
